15-Minute Makeup Routine

As a working student and blogger, I want to look put together (and like I’ve gotten more than 5 hours of sleep) on a day to day basis. However, I need any makeup I wear to be quick, easy, and kind to my skin. That’s why I reach for this routine and these products, whether I have an 8am class, or a late night work shift. This whole look takes me ten minutes and is the perfect little ritual for me start my day feeling like I’m ready to take on a packed schedule after having practiced some self care.

"For blush and bronzer I’m going with creams to keep this look super easy, quick, natural, and glowy."

Base
After applying my AM skincare and SPF, I like to start this routine with the Milk Makeup Blur Stick because it makes me feel comfortable with a lower-coverage base overall since it fills in texture on my skin and blurs the appearance of any unevenness. I focus it on areas where my pores are most prominent: around the center of my face, and my nose. I have some texture from past breakouts on the lower parts of my cheeks, so I hit it there, as well. I like to use the warmth of my fingers to work it into the skin after I swipe it on.
For my actual coverage product I’m reaching for the Dr Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops, which I think are just amazing. It doesn’t look or feel like makeup and offers so many healing benefits to the skin, so it’s ideal for people with acne, sensitive skin, or redness. It also melts into the skin and creates the look of perfectly even and glowy skin. I like to work this into the skin using the Matte MakeupDrop to get a flawlessly blended finish.
For blush and bronzer I’m going with creams to keep this look super easy, quick, natural, and glowy. My favorites are the Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer in Baked and the Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk. I like to blend both of these out with the Micro MakeupDrop because of the precision it offers.

Eyes, Brows, Lips
I have naturally pretty full brows so on an everyday basis I keep my brow routine super simple and just run a clear brow gel through them to hold them in place. I have the one from Anastasia in rotation right now but to be honest, I’m not picky.
For eyes I like to focus on maximum eye brightening impact with minimum effort. I love the Milk Makeup Eye Pigments; the brighter colors are great for a quick and easy but impactful look. For everyday, I love the shade Hotel Lobby which is a light and shimmery champagne shade, which for my complexion is the perfect color to brighten things up. I like to apply just the tiniest bit of that all over my eyelid with my finger. Then I like to use a little bit of brown pencil liner to the outside half of my upper lash line for a bit of definition. I just smudge on the tiniest bit of the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown(Out) which has a bit of sparkle. I then go in with something nude and brightening in the waterline of my eyes, lately I’ve been loving the Pixi Beauty Eye Bright Liner

Finally I’ll swipe on some moisturizing gloss like the Fresh Sugar Cream Lip Treatment in Pink, throw that in my bag and head out for the day!
